I am sizzling here in Italy and the humidity I must say is just unbearable. So, the past few days I really haven't been up to ANYTHING at all. But alas, today I went to IKEA in Milan and bought some shiz for my room. No big deal, but it was certainly great to get out of the house. Not that I did much, but sit in an AC'd car, walk around a huge place with lots of furniture and eat Swedish meatballs. That was probably the highlight of my day: the meatballs. If you ever come across an IKEA store, HAVE the Swedish meatballs.
Alright, so another thing that I've noticed has happened lately is my Gryffindor scarf that I bought from Fao Schwarz last year has gone missing. I suspect it's the Nargles although I'd have to check it out with Luna first. I am actually considering putting up posters with a picture of the scarf with a big, bold MISSING sign on it. Life just isn't the same without it. This brings me to the subject of my life. And for my personal entertainment, what I do is: I ridicule my life while IMing my friends. It's ridiculous how I have deprived myself of a social life in the past week hehe. I haven't done much, but be a nerd. I've been reading Paper Towns like a maniac (which, by the way I have almost finished), watching movies and basically spending my time indoors on the computer. It's been the craziest, most uneventful week I've had in a long time. But hey, that's what summer is all about isn't it? Haha My friends are spread across the world. Few of them actually being close to my area and I still haven't seen much of them since I got back from Sardinia.
So, talking about Paper Towns, I'm enjoying it A LOT. It's really interesting and never fails to surprise me. The humor in it is perfect and just how I like it. I'm really almost at the end. Looking forwards to see what happens IF they find Margo. I have a hunch.. I think they will. After Paper Towns, I'm off to reading Looking for Alaska then Playing with the Grown Ups and 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I also have 4 other books that just arrived from Amazon and I'm so excited to get to read them! NERD. Oh well, it's what I like to do :)
Peace. DFTBA
Oh, and I have 2 people following this blog. So, THANK YOU!
Off to Finland next Wednesday! Should be interesting.. :P
Bye for now.
I honestly think Paper Towns is a very... different and stange book. I LOVED Katherines, and you'll cry so much reading LFA.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm reading Girl At Sea and then I'll also be reading 13 Little Blue Envelopes :)
BEING A NERD IS THE BEST THERE IS. <3
PS - I LOVE THE SWEDISH MEATBALLS.
Hehe I quite liked Paper Towns. it was different, but it's what I needed hehe :P
ReplyDeleteI don't know about crying in LFA.. I don't really get that emotional during books.. and hardly ever in movies. I know, I'm sad :P
