Fighting a fear?

Alright, so here's something that has bothered me today. I am scared of open spaces or places like open water. This afternoon I went to the lake with a bunch of friends and I found myself facing one of my fears. My friends were all telling me to jump in because it was a lot of fun and the water was relatively clean and cool. I couldn't. I looked in, not knowing how deep it was or what was underneath whatever my eye could manage to see. To be honest, I did consider going in for a moment because it did look like a lot of fun and quite frankly, refreshing too. But no, I just couldn't bring myself round to it. All my friends were telling me it wasn't exactly "open water" because it was only the lake. Well, here's what I consider "open water": whatever is larger and deeper than the average swimming pool.

So, I have set my goal to Saturday, when I will be heading back to the beach with my friend Jenny and I am convinced I will manage to swim in that lake. Hopefully I won't panic or drown hehehe, but I will definitely write about it if it's a success.

Sorry, I just had to get this out.

Yeah.

See you.

Bye.

Bye.
